
Hello! We're Chris and Nancy, co-founders of Taiyookie.

We're both self-taught home cooks who love traveling and sharing good food. We fell in love with taiyaki/bungeoppang when we visited Japan and Korea, respectively, and wanted to share it with the world (but with a twist)! Can you tell our favorite foods are Asian-fusion?

Taiyookie started when we had this wild idea to combine taiyaki with cookie dough (inspired by croissant cookies). What started as a fun passion project led to us signing up for night markets, and eventually, curating DIY taiyaki kits so more people can experience fresh taiyaki at home.

We're always getting creative with fun, new flavors, but still hold deep appreciation for the classics. So whether you've had them before, or it's your first time trying, we hope taiyakis bring you the same joy and happiness that it does for us and our families.
